Background - Born an accident, his parents did not want him. He was put up for adoption, and adopted by a wealthy british family. Unfortunatly, he was mistakenly sent to a gutter in London. He was made mute by horrific accidents he succumbed to whilst working in the mines, and also has gained a white streak in his hair from the shock of many an accident. Ironically, he is not really clumsy, just exceedingly unlucky, however he claims he is prone to accidents, they just seem to happen to him.

He accidentally bumped into Ted, who leered at him, and threatened his life unless he joined his services. APM now works full time in Ted’s services, and next to Gilbert, is his right hand man.
